WINTER WARMER FOOT SOAK

  • 1 part Ginger root
  • 2 part Calendula flowers
  • 1 part Comfrey leaf
  • 1 part Yarrow flower
  • Water

This is a great soak to help cold feet with poor circulation in the cold months of the year, like we have in Montana.

Put the ingredients into a pot and add enough water to create a strong herbal tea.

Bring to a slow simmer with a lid on the pot.

Add the herbs and water to a soaking basin, making sure to add enough additional water that it is a safe and comfortable temperature for your feet.

Soak your feet while enjoying a good book or calling a loved one.  Once you are finished, towel dry your feet and put on a snuggly pair of socks.

Note: On an ingredient list when you see “part”, it just needs to be the same measurement. Part can mean tablespoon, teaspoon, ounces, cups or other method for measuring. This allows for you to make a recipe as big or as small as you want. If you used Tablespoons in this recipe, you would just replace Tablespoon for Part.
