Summer Herbal Iced Tea

  • Nettle
  • Hibiscus
  • Peppermint
  • Dandelion leaf

The herbs in this recipe are lovely for helping keep you cool on scorching summer days. This is an easy to make recipe for drinking and sharing.

Mix together equal parts of the dried herbs in this recipe. You can make plenty of the dry herb mixture and store it in a cool dark place. Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of dry herb mixture per cup of water.

Put desired amount of dried herbal mixture into a mason jar or coffee press. Pour boiling water over the top. Let steep for 20 minutes. While this is still hot, you can add honey if you like to have sweet tea. Strain and keep herbal liquid in a mason jar in the refrigerator. Can be enjoyed for a couple of days before making a new batch.

For extra cool points, you can add specialty ice cubes from our Minty Cubes recipe.

Cheers!
