Fried Dandelion Flowers

Enjoy the incredible medicinal properties of these common flowers with these delicious little bites!

Basic recipe:
1. Dip Dandelion flower heads in egg, followed by flour.
2. Fry in hot oil until golden brown

Variations to consider:
Gluten Free – Use tapioca starch or cassava flour
Vegan – Instead of egg, try dunking in soy milk, tomato paste, or applesauce
Sweet – Add vanilla to your egg and cinnamon to your flour. Eat with maple syrup like french toast.
Savory – Add powdered herbs to your flour (ie. Rosemary or Thyme). Add minced fresh garlic to your egg with a little tomato paste.
